American Kolache - O'fallon, IL

"First time at this location. The young ladies were kind and efficient. I bought an assortment. My family thought they were really good except the pulled pork. The bun was warm and sweet, but the pull pork was ice cold. Sausage, egg, and cheese is my favorite it was jammed packed. It was fantabulous. The cheese and egg were delightful. I will be back."

"I really wanted to like this place. Some of the flavors are pretty good, in fact I've enjoyed the majority of the savory kolache fillings. I'm not a big barbecue fan, but the barbecue was actually really good. The pizza was also worth trying. The breakfast options are of note as well. For the bad, these are ridiculously overpriced for the quality. While some of them are okay with filling, at least a quarter of mine are 90+ percent bread. I attached a picture for example. For four bucks a kolache, I really expect better. If these were 2-3, I'd be more forgiving, but for 4 bucks you literally get maybe a teaspoon of filling on some of these."

"I have been waiting on this place to open for quite some time. I've had their food and St Louis, and I can never make it to their place in Edwardsville before they close. But this location right around the corner from my house. I will definitely be a regular. It was amazing"

"Happened to stumble upon this place while in town for work, and what a great find! Such a delicious and different option for lunch. Our favorite was the Italian Beef, but the Meatball and the Pulled Pork were also excellent. Will definitely be back before returning home."

"Just went in on word of a soft opening today… had kolaches at a work thing a while back and hoped to get more in my belly. So needless to say I was stoked to know there was a spot now just down the road from home!!! and do they ROCK!! atmosphere was super pleasant and welcoming, the people/owners were so joyful and nice, but the best part, these kolaches do not mess around!! I got a 4 box and wish I did more!"
