"This is an absolutely awesome place. The people are great, the food was way better than expected and very fairly priced. I've been fishing the Mississippi river for years and I am so glad this place is here now. My buddies and I ate outside on the patio and the experience couldn't have been better. They even had a couple of really sweet dogs,(shelties I believe), that greeted us and to my surprise didn't beg or disturb us. Overall a fantastic place. I couldn't have had a better time!"

"This is their first season (summer '24). Coming from MO going will require a charming drive using Golden Eagle Ferry or a boat. The menu is simple, the food is great, the staff is friendly as can be, and views of the river are stellar. It's definitely in the rotation of preferred places to go while on the river!"

"It's off the beaten path, a little hard to find but sits right on the river on a large deck. Inside seating is available as well with a bar. The food was really good and portions were large so you won't walk away hungry."

"The food was not only timely, but also tasted delightful. The outdoor patio was lovely as it was such a nice day out. I had the Blackbeard's Daughter (rum and Cherry Coke) which tasted good, but the SpongeBob Upside Down cocktail was delicious. The service was excellent, with all staff being very kind and friendly towards us. We can't recommend Pirates enough, and can't wait to go back again!"
