"All around bad vibes the atmosphere was pretty negatively heavy with the employees there, and considering it's a inheritor's money bar business. (They didn't work hard for thier money to open up this bar.) wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This should be the last resort bar & grill if that."

"Small town midwest Bar & Grills are the BEST! The Outer Edge is easy to find just off I-80 on the north side of town. Huge parking lot out front with easy access for those who are mobility challenged – no steps. A ‘hunting lodge’ vibe greets you with an open layout where you can choose either tables or booths. And that’s not the best part! The people are wonderful, friendly, giving you speedy service and GREAT FOOD!! They have a regular Bar & Grill menu with daily specials and affordable prices! You’ll find a side room with video games & tables for the kids – and another side room where you’ll have a good variety of SLOTS to play. Great location, great food, great people & great prices! A must stop for our future trips!"

"The Outer Edge is just that slightly off the beaten path and well worth finding. No complaints here the food was fantastic, Monica gave great service and Randy who cooked the food came out and talked to us about specials they have... really great people and cool atmosphere. Tenderloins were delicious made locally, fried green beans super fresh, great portions and very reasonable prices.. Definitely will come back here. Thanks guys for the great experience."

"This place is the hidden gem of illinois. Such a great place. I have no negative remarks about it. The staff was absolutely amazing, super interactive and nice. The food was incredible. They had the BEST burger! -BBQ burger. It was melt in your mouth good. There salad was in a big portion and very fresh. All in all we will be back and telling others about the place."
