"A fixture in the area for traditional Polish! The two soups (potato & chicken noodle) were from scratch. The cold salads were very good. My faves were the pickled beets, the dilled cucumbers in sour cream, and the bean salad. The hot entrees were wonderful. Dumplings, pierogi's, pork cutlet croquettes, meatballs in cream sauce, stuffed cabbage rolls. They even have a dessert table! Check out the menu on-line. Special note: they are closed Sunday and Monday so plan accordingly!"
"What an excellent place. The food is authentic and cooked old school. Love it."
"Went to Thanksgiving buffet here. Everything here was just wonderful. Great food, great service, great bar ( My old fashion was made perfectly). This is such a cool retro place. An absolute gem, these types of places are getting harder to find. I can't wait to come back."
"Food was good, not great. Was better 10 years ago. And getting pricey. $17.00 for lunch. But still for all you can eat buffet that's not bad. The potato pancakes were fantastic. 1/4" thick, crispy outside a moist potato inside. The 2 Polish sausages were ok. The smoked was better. 2 choices of pirogies. And they had sour crowd with bacon and some sort of sausage. That was good. And the minced pork fried thick snitzel kind of a thing was good. I added dill gravy to one and brown gravy to the other. The desserts were good too. The kolackies (sp?) We're really good you could tell they were homemade because they were different sizes and had a bit of different degrees of brownness on the bottom. Go on the weekend I think it's a A couple dollars more but you get a even bigger variety of food. As well as baked ham and roast beef shaved in front of you."
"Place has been around for a while and needs a little update in the dining area. The staff was nice. The food was "ok" as it's not my customary food that I eat but tasted as I imagined it would. The ice cream rice cones tasted stale but the ice cream was good. The jello was a hit with the kids as was the fried chicken. I know it's a Polish restaurant but they should offer a little more kid-friendly options. Also the bathrooms are a bit small and would be nice to have a changing table in at least one of the bathrooms. It was buffet style when we went for late lunch, not sure if that's the setup for the whole day but it was when we went in."
