"These people are here to help unemployed workers, and they act like it’s a pain to help the database from the state of Iowa is very unusual friendly. I’ve had multiple problems from it. Yeah, I know my tax dollars at work and the worst part I called in the 1866 whatever number and they tell me it’s an 81 minute wait whoever runs workforce development Doesn’t even know what’s going on and I don’t think they care"

"They offer disability accommodations to the deaf and blind but not the physically disabled. I have had more issues with this place for unemployment than I can count. They don't listen or talk to you when it comes to REX lab appointments and if you miss one or make a mistake they threaten to lock your account. The lack of disability accommodations as well as the stubborn refusal to have flexibility in appointment scheduling is unprofessional and I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Some of the staff are rude and talk down to you and it's honestly ridiculous to have to have someone drive 30 minutes to an hour back and forth out of town just to sit on a computer for three minutes while they stand over you just so you can do what you've already done at home."

"Someone intercepts you as you enter and gets you on the computer. To see a live person—most of them hiding behind cubicles or in offices is nearly impossible the first time. Good luck trying to get calls returned. If you use public transit dealing with this place is nothing but a pain in the butt. Once you get through the obstacles and self importance of some of the staff you can get good leads. But it’s a bunch of paperwork and appointments to get to that point."
