"I became a member of and now attend First Baptist Church. Pastor Rob is a great preacher and always has a good message in his bible oriented sermon. One of the first observations one will have is Pastor Rob at the door greeting everyone with a smile. The second thing is that everyone is so friendly. The pianist is a great singer and does a great job on the organ and piano. There are always events and gatherings, Bible Study, choir, and more that a person can get into and be a part of. "My family and I have been going to this church consistently for the past 8 years, and I think it is a great church. FBC is a historic church that was established in the 1860's, and has beautiful stained glass windows. There are a lot of community outreach activities so get ready to roll up your sleeves. We just got a new pastor, Rob White, and he is really a nice guy who loves God and has a lot of energy. The church has activities every day and two services every Sunday. The average member is probably over 60 years old, but we have some very enthusiastic younger groups in the church. There are two different services every Sunday, a traditional service at 10:45 and a more contemporary service at 8:30."
