Welcome to the Seventh District Department of Corrections, a dedicated local government office located at 605 North Main Street, Davenport, Iowa. High Risk Unit (HRU): Our specialized High Risk Unit is composed of Certified Law Enforcement Officers who are equipped to carry weapons. This unit plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and executing a range of essential functions within the district.

Drug Court: Designed to address drug-related offenses, our Drug Court program offers an intensive, 18-month, four-phase program that focuses on rehabilitation and recovery. Through weekly court interactions, drug testing, and treatment services, we aim to divert non-violent offenders from the traditional criminal justice system.

Electronic Monitoring and GPS Technology: Utilizing state-of-the-art electronic surveillance, including GPS technology, we monitor high-risk offenders around the clock, enhancing community safety and offender accountability.

Interstate Compact and Batterers Education: We oversee the supervision of offenders transferred across state lines and provide mandated education programs for individuals convicted of domestic abuse, promoting non-abusive behavior through structured group sessions.

Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): Our cognitive-behavioral program encourages offenders to develop a positive identity and higher moral reasoning, ultimately leading to more appropriate behavior.

Offender Employment Specialists (OES): Our specialists assist offenders in securing and maintaining employment, fostering partnerships with local employers and offering guidance on job applications and resumes.

OWI Program: For offenders convicted of multiple OWI charges, we provide treatment and supervision in community corrections facilities, supporting their rehabilitation while serving their sentences.

Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP): Aimed at reducing sexual abuse victimization, our comprehensive program includes intensive supervision, professional counseling, and perpetrator treatment groups, all focused on preventing re-offending.

Tech2Connect (T2C): In collaboration with Iowa prisons, our T2C initiative facilitates reentry services for incarcerated individuals, providing early engagement and planning through virtual meetings and comprehensive treatment assessments.
