"It a great place with friendly people that are glad to help you"
"I really like the ladies that I got.She was extremely friendly and hopeful.Got a lot of things.I need it what a blessing"
"I'm not sure , what ignorant lady answered the phone but if she doesn't like her job maybe she can find a new one!! There are many people out there that can replace you! including myself ! I have years and years experience ! not only as a Social Worker , as well as years of experience working with the public! Providing outstanding customer Service ! I contacted the Salvation Army today to find out if they had a program to help people find a Vehicle! other cities have such programs. Whether the vehicle be for work or for medical reasons . I asked her if they had a Voucher program or a credit repair program where you go to one of their car dealerships and make affordable payments on a car. Or where they even provide a car for your family . The lady snickered and in an ignorant condescending voice, and said "No we don't have any thing like THAT here" well, hmm .. here's an idea. Maybe as you're sitting at your desk you should educate yourself on some of the vehicle programs they have out there, That help people who need to get to work, or to the doctors or for many other reasons. So this way if someone calls, You can say, no ma'am we don't provide that service here but let me refer you to some one who does."
"WILL NEVER DONATE TO THE SALVATION ARMY EVER AGAIN!!! I went out of my way today to drive 14 blocks while I am in a lot of pain due to the weather to donate 2 bags of like new and new toys and other items so some other children could get something for Christmas. I was told that because they were not in the original packaging from the store that they would not take them. Not even a mindcraft lunch bag never used and that even had the tags still on it. If parents can get toys and clothes from a garage sale that do not even look half as good as these items do and kids love them then why not take these that look new?"
"The morning a staff was quite rude to me as i simply asked if they guide me in the direction for resources for a stranded visitor. She said that they are not open yet, 15 minutes til, and theres nothing they can offer except food from the food pantry at 11am that morning. I expected a better bedside manner, or concern for my safety, in the least."
