"Saw a vehicle on their lot that was being parted out. Ask about a part. Owner said they were closed. I ask if I could harvest the part myself. He agreed and trusted me to take only what I needed. Trusted me further to leave the cash in a secure area for him. A very trusting man with a great care for an unknown customer. Thanks Kent!"
"I had a great experience at Kent’s Automotive Shop! He treated my car with lots of care and respect and performed very eloquently on the paint job. I am so proud of Kent and how does working with cars. I recommend coming to Kent’s Automotive Shop if your car needs a new coat of paint or needs to be worked on or repaired!"
"The experience has been horrible from the beginning but, since I became involved and start asking for receipts, checks and balances it has become WORSE. My fiance' has dealt with him on several occasions and because they were chummy I'm guessing he felt as though he was trustworthy....NOT. He has paid him money in cash that he will then turn around and say he never received until you provide him the text message showing he did in fact receive money. The most recent incident was he picked up the vehicle and towed it as it had been in an accident, he then advised that he would hold on to the vehicle free of charge as it was not a vehicle that was driven on the regular it was more of a show car and advised that the cost of the repair would be $4500 when we were ready to fix mind you this is all thru text. Months even a year has gone by and I start texting him 6/21/2020 letting him know we were ready to repair, and if he could provide me a detailed estimate 9 days went by sent another message 7/1/2020 received a reply of $6500. I then send him another text 7/22/2020 as he doesn't answer when you call and ask him about the estimate again and if he wasn't going to be able to get the work done let me know and we will scheduled to pick up the vehicle no reply. I then send another text 7/27/2020 advising I never received a response and he then responds with if I don't want him to do the repair in order to get the car back I had to pay $20/day for storage. I still have not received an estimate so then I send another text on 8/7/2020 again asking for something in writing on 8/8/2020 I receive a response thru text with the portion that shows the date he picked up the car but fails to send the part of the message where he advised of keeping the car at no charge. Proceeded with payment methods to that is till not a formally written document which is considered to be an estimate. We live in 5 hours away so it's not like we can drive and there easily. My issue with the whole situation is your business practices, in the event you were charging storage something should have been written up and signed and you should be able to provide estimates to your customer so they will know what they are being charged. A text message is not suffice. I don't conduct business that way. You mean to tell me you were initially charging storage but not once contact the individual that hasn't paid on their storage fee and over a year has gone by and were is the documented paperwork. His business practice is unethical and not acceptable. He is unresponsive and he price gauges people and in my opinion the work is not of the best quality, it looks good in the moment however its not long lasting. I would never recommend using his services not because of the quality of his work but because of the way he handles business."
"Kent is not a professional business man, please do not take your vehicle here. Had my car for 1 and a half years and when I text for updated he has been sick or mother is sick etc. And he have the nerves to say if you can't wait a few weeks you can come pick up your car. REALLY! He always have an excuse, shut your shop down if you can't provide good service In a timely manner. Save yourself the headache and take your vehicle elsewhere."
