"This bank does not have convenient hours for those of us who work and need to do things after five or on weekends!! HOWEVER, Joyce B. In Seabrook is phenomenal! Please give her a raise!! I continue to be a customer at this bank because of her. She knows me by name and actually has a terrific conversation with me all the time!! She's fast and efficient. I wish I could bring people to meet her to understand what TRUE customer service looks like!!"
"This bank has gone down hill very quickly, especially after they merged with Bridgewater. For some reason my paychecks are not going into my account and it's very annoying. Just a few weeks ago, they locked me out of my account. When I went to go ask them why, they just said they had no idea. Horrible bank. I'm closing my account today."
"Employees have always been friendly, but the hours of operation are ridiculous. 10-5 m-f and no weekend hours at all. They aren’t even open for a full 8 hours a day. Makes it very difficult to do any in person transactions for most people who work normal business hours. Planning on switching banks but they aren’t even open enough for me to be able to go close my account in person."
"Much like what I said about the Haverhill branch, this bank has absolutely nose dived into the trash since COVID began. First, they won’t accept coins now without charging a fee, even for members, where before if you used their coin counters, they’d waive the fee and deposit the full amount. No longer the case. They removed their counters, and now you have to go to the teller and have them count out the coins with their end, lost five dollars last time out of a $50 coin deposit. On top pf that, they’re fee crazy. This bank several times now has withheld my direct deposits from my work and hit me with overdraft fees because they failed to process my paycheck in time to cover bills. I know that it is the banks end, as my employer has stated that my check is sent on Thursday and should be available next day every time, and other employees do not have this problem. To those that would say I should just have paper checks and go in every week - thats well and good, but my employer doesn’t offer this anymore. This causes me to have to not work my side job due to having low funds, therefore putting me closer to the hole that we all are desperately trying to avoid. Do not bank with this bank. Period. Its set up in a very trashy way to extract as much from you in fees as possible, its a bank looking to skim off their customers, which is very sad, as a couple years ago, I loved this bank. EDIT: I did call on Friday, honestly my review would be lower than one star now if possible. I was put on hold and led on a runaround for nearly two hours about why my paychecks weren’t making it into the bank to cover my expenses. No real answers. I haven’t had as much trouble of late, as I’ve been manually bringing cash to deposit… but even that isn’t fool proof. There are many occasions where this bank is legitimately unusable. Sundays, in particular, I find that at least two out the three of my nearest local branches don’t have the ability to even deposit cash. At least until well into the afternoon theres not even an option to do it via an ATM. Btw, you’ll find their ATMs very unreliable and they’re consistently not working every time I try to go on a Sunday or Saturday lately. Idk. Honestly, I still have no real answers about any of these things going badly. Not other than something that kind of boils down to ‘we’re sorry, our banking is literally slower and worse than any other bank around and we really have no good reason for that other than being way behind the times.’ Its a shame. This was my first bank."
"If all banks & credit unions were this friendly & helpful, people would actually ENJOY going to do their banking in person. When we walk-in, we are greeted with a friendly smile & asked how our family is doing. Good old fashioned friendly service that is lacking in today’s world."
