"Counterplay is amazing. It's a smaller store, but it's filled with high quality finds at reasonable prices. It's been our go to place for the past few years for retro video games and consoles. The owners are always incredibly kind and great to work with. We've loved getting to know them over the years. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and get a good deal. We'll miss going here as often once we move."

"The staff seems friendly but their store doesn't have very much in stock. They have "games" in their name, but don't sell a lot of them - nor accessories or card singles like you would assume from this kind store. They seem to currently have a huge stock of transformer like toys, but other than that a very sparse selection or comics / manga. There is an attic like smell to the store implies to me the products haven't moved much."

"Fantastic shop with a huge collection of back issues, $1 comics, manga, tabletop games, and video games going back into at least the early 80's. Also some vinyl I didn't have a chance to peruse -- you could spend hours just browsing. Friendly staff. A breath of fresh air especially if you're acclimated to more corporate environments."

"A lovely welcome, great stock and friendly folk. This is a wonderfully large comic and game store, they have a good variety of back issues, and cater well to their regulars with games and ample space for tables. I was taken by the mix of enthusiasm and friendliness of Amy, Celia and Eric."
