The teachers are creative, caring, supportive and professional. They engage the kids in fun and thoughtful ways and provide lots of opportunities for parents to stay involved. "Burlington’s hidden gem! When I first started researching preschools for my first born daughter back in 2015, a close friend recommended I look at SEE. Nervous and unsure of what to expect, I walked into the most warm and inviting preschool. Tucked away in the ‘building across the street from Trader Joe’s, the School for Early Excellence is filled with smiling faces and joyful noise. I immediately knew this preschool fit the bill. Offering flexible schedules (sometimes even last minute accommodations), a school-year schedule, an optional summer program, and a small play-focused curriculum are just some of the features that appealed to me. In addition, there are always enrichment programs on the schedule (music, yoga, visits from local fire/police, or dentists). Also, let me not forget to mention that they have hosted many ‘parents night out’ and outside of school family events (Trunk or Treat, Karate, and visits to the Farm). Since 2015, I have had two more daughters, and all three have been proud SEE students. SEE has done an excellent job preparing my kids for the ‘rigors’ of todays kindergarten, but has also nurtured them and allowed them to enjoy the simple pleasures of early childhood. We are so lucky to have found this wonderful school."
