"Not a great experience. A Charlie card should cover this ferry, but you have to have proof that your card is active, like a receipt. Luckily the guy took pity on us and didn't make us pay again (we already had a 1-week Charlie card). You can ride this ferry to see the city from the water, but I have to say that a tour though City Cruises is about a thousand times better if that is what you want to do. The ferry is filthy, has animal dander, no air flow, and only gives you about 5 minutes to catch the views. Pros: it gets you from point A to point B."
"Good ride for a good price. What more can a man ask for?"
"The ferry feels like such a gem to find! more people should know about it. It took us to the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, home to the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill Memorial. The ferry is only $7.50 one way and the views are priceless! a very short but unforgettable ride Wonderful staff"
"As its name implies, the ferry takes you to the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, home to the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill Memorial, two sites on the historic Freedom Trail. If you have a valid ticket for the subway or city buses, you can use it to board the ferry. Expect great views of the city and harbor on board."
"We took the ferry to the shipyard, saw a ship actively being worked on in dry dock and climbed 300 steps of the bunker hill memorial. Ferry ticket was included in price of the weekly public bus/ rail ticket from the airport. Ferry came every 30 minutes on weekdays. It's in the middle of other paid boat tours, with little to no signage. The 360 shows where to stand to catch it."
