"Love this location -- staff is incredible! Dante (studio manager) really goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and inclusive space. Classes are always very challenging (especially now with the daily finishers) but I never worry about potential injury as the team is quick to watch member form and correct us."
"LOCATION: in the basement of a big building with security smack in the middle of Harvard Square • new comers or trial members must ring the bell to be allowed in; allow for extra 5-10 min if you’re using ClassPass • paying members are given a key fob for entry SPACE: co-ed workout floor with LOTS of equipment; that’s it FACILITIES: 2 separate, one-person bathrooms with toilet and sink + 1 shower with sink • shower includes body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer + pull down chair should you need it; dual fixed and handheld shower head option • shower tend to be popular in mornings more so than any time of day • BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL AMENITIES: limited; you get what you pay for • no towels provided • store personal belongings outside gym room or in open cubbies provided • water “cooler” available to refill water bottles CLASSES: intermediate to advanced; wouldn’t recommend to a beginner — not much direction on form nor options for modifications provided • one style of class per day, different for every day of the week: - cardio | Mon & Wed - resistance/muscle building | Tue, Thurs, Sun - hybrid | Fri & Sat • class sets are changed up every 3-4 weeks (but categorically always the same for each day of the week , e.g. Mondays will always be a cardio workout even when class set changes every 3-4 weeks STAFF: approachable, but not alert, expects you to know what’s going on unless you ask or they realize you’re confused/doing something wrong"
"I love the community at this gym! I’m new to the area and already this place feels like home. I did the 7 day trial and loved the super engaging challenging work outs plus the energy and feedback from the coaches. I’m now a few weeks into a membership and I cannot stop going, I’m definitely getting my moneys worth. Every session I have received feedback on my form for every exercise and been motivated to up the challenge level when the coaches think I can. Manager/Coach Luca works tirelessly to engage and help everyone while hyping up and building the community. It’s a very fast paced workout but you get the hang of it!"
"I joined this gym when it had its soft opening last winter. Initially, I hadn’t planned on committing to a membership because I had too many other ongoing activities already, but I ended up changing my mind after attending a few classes. I signed up shortly after and haven’t looked back! The trainers here are awesome and do a great job of correcting your form. They’re also super encouraging and will hand you a heavier weight if they think you can handle it. I love how I can show up in the mornings (either 6:15 or 7:15 if I’ve had a late night) and have a routine already pre-programmed for me instead of spending time pondering what to do at the gym. What keeps me coming back to the gym is the community. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, everyone is supportive and friendly. There are also monthly gym socials and quarterly challenges that help you get to know the members outside of the gym too."
"F45 coaches, gym, and community is amazing! Location super convenient - near the T, a bunch of bus stops, and parking in the square is free before 8am. I started coming after my second kiddo and I've never felt more in shape. Coaches gave been super supportive and I've even found a good friend! Workouts are different everyday and consistent for four weeks, so there's so much variability. Come join us!"
