"I had a really positive experience shopping at this location for sneakers. I was helped by Bella. I didn't feel any pressure to buy something or rushed (which I experience at other Marathon Sports locations). Bella was really supportive and easy going. The environment wasn't hectic or distracting (like other locations). I'm really happy with the Saucony sneakers I bought, and I tried on a couple other pairs for the first time that I'm now interested in. I have been to multiple Marathon Sports locations (Wellesley, Lexington, Boston), and Cambridge is not the most convenient for me, but I will definitely return to the Cambridge location in the future when I want to try on sneakers in store. I'm glad I made the trip."

"It is definitely a few steps up from most sneaker stores. Th do a foot scan to determine which of their products would best work for your feet. That said, I went with someone and we have very different feet and reason for needing a pair of sneakers (flat vs high arches, narrow vs wide, runner vs walker, etc). The staff suggested the exact same 3 pairs of sneakers for both of us to try on. They were a mixed bag in terms of fit - too wide, too tight, slipping heel, etc. it could have been the person helping us was inexperienced but not sure. When the shoes are at their price point and they market their foot scan, we were hoping for more."

"This five star review is for them NOT selling me a shoe. I needed a new pair of running shoes, and the line that I usually buy had a massive redesign this year. They did have a version of that shoe in stock in my size so I got to try it on, and I'm glad I did because I did not like it. We went through a few other options, and found a shoe that felt pretty good but was not the correct width (curse these wide feet of mine). They offered to special order it in my size but were very blunt that it would be faster for me to just order it online. While I would have liked to give them my money for their effort and help, I did need the shoes sooner rather than later, so this review is a token of my gratitude."
