"This church should be ashamed of themselves for tearing down the Read-Ott House. I have say I have never written a google review nor have ever given a bad one, but in this case I certainly am. I study historic preservation and have lived in Pawtucket my entire life and could not have been more disappointed and saddened that this church chose to demolish a 180 year old house. Once again, Pawtucket has lost another structure to the wrecking ball, much like many other historic structures in the city because of greed and lack of care for our history. An interesting note is that this church was offered help from the city of Pawtucket to restore the house through grants, as well as having been offered to sell the house and let it be moved. Yet, this church still decides to demolish. I will also add that I will NEVER be going to a Greek Festival sponsored by this church ever again and I hope other people in Pawtucket will not support an organization that believes tearing down a historic house in a National Register Historic District is good for them."
"The church building is exquisite. The music of the chanters and choir is beautiful. The community is warm and welcoming and the sermons of the Reverend Dr. Philip Zymaris are inspiring, encouraging and on-point."
"This is really a review of the Greek Festival at the Church each August. Great food, many interesting groups with dancers and musicians. Excellent Desserts! And the prices are easy on the wallet! Good Festival to visit for an afternoon/evening of food and fun."
"We had a wonderful time this afternoon the food was wonderful. The people were great. The church is absolutely beautiful."
"I would not even give this church a one star but there is nothing less. I called to have my wedding there are the receptionist told me they were holding the date for another couple and to call back a week later. I Did and the answer I got was that NOW the priest was going to be on vacation and trying to shoe me off to other churche's in the area? Humm. I then asked if my priest can come and do the service. Well that is a problem bc the wedding is less then a year in advance and it will be hard to have someone open the church. I Never once spoke to the priest!! The receptionist Beth I think said he is too busy with 5 children and he teaches. I asked if he had a cell phone and checked his messages she said yes.. either way never spoke to him. THE WHOLE TIME TRYING TO DEFER ME TO OTHER CHURCHES. The woman spoke to me like an idiot. Disgusting. THEY REPRESENTED THE ORTHODOX CHURCH HORRIBLE. THEY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER before they close this part time church .none the less I found a wonderful chuch to have my wedding. I will be sure to tell my fellow greek orthodox NOT to attend..."
