Reviews
"Very friendly and knowledgeable guys. Absolutely a blast at this visitor center. Highly recommended."
"Amazing visitor center! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I got a private screening of the 15 minute video on the local history. The inside of the theater space is equipped with vintage movie theater seats that were salvaged from a local movie theater. The exit signs and ceiling decor was also salvaged. Lots of nice looking and informative walls too."
"Back open to public after covid 19 issues. This is the first stop for information about the Blackstone Valley Heritage Area. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Stop by to learn the beginnings of the American Industrial Revolution, and how the Blackstone River played a major part in its success."
"This visitors' center is great! Lots of information about the area and its revolutionary history. Friendly staff. A quiet place to catch your breath. Great gift shop. Huge map on the floor of area with historical sites highlighted. It's a little in the dark side but not terribly so. Easy to access via RIPTA. Parking, H/C parking, and bike bollards are in the back of the building; this could be tricky for an out-of-towner."
"Awesome space for any potential venue. It has a small theatre, atrium type hall, and gallery/exhibit area. The space just lends itself to possibilities and the coordinator Jerry makes things happen."
