"Beautiful and relaxing. You can sit down in the garden and enjoy the peace."
"What a gem! Free to walk around lovely little garden around the back. Great spot to recharge."
"Visited the Ropes Mansion because of it being in the movie 'Hocus Pocus', and bought tickets to explore the inside. The Garden around the back of the mansion is free to explore without having to pay for it. Unfortunately, the scene that you see in the movie 'Hocus Pocus' is supposed to be the character Alison's house, but it was NOT filmed on the inside. It's a totally different location where they filmed that. I'm not trying to sway one from visiting. I recommend it to those who are interested in seeing and learning about some real history of Salem and should definitely visit the Ropes Mansion!!"
"The garden was very beautiful, it had amazing, pretty, colorful flowers. There were many different kinds of plants and the koi pond was beautiful. You can tell they kept good care of there garden and the house had neat architecture and was very fun to see."
"I didn’t get to tour the mansion itself as it was closed that day. The gardens can be toured for free and they are really nice. The outside of the house was one of the filming locations for the movie Hocus Pocus and it’s a great spot for a photo if you’re a fan"
