"The team at Design Build Architects has been an amazing experience for me in the least. As I have had to walk away from two architect/contractor experiences, I was surely nervous for another. As a single mom, this is not a female-friendly place to be... but this team has definitely made me feel heard, validated, and supported. In the beginning, I was taking slow steps to see what would happen... and in the first walkthrough, I instantly felt at ease. The team was excited to discuss my ideas, and Arick's eye began to catch all of the worries the last contractor left me with (and some I did not even see - urg!!).... but he did this in a way that assured me his team would address them once they are here on the project. Then I was even more blown away when Gabriela and Arlind came to do the measurements, as Gabriela was new and learning the ropes... Arlind was supportive, funny, and at ease in his teaching role. I have been working directly with Gabriela as the lead on my project (FEMALE POWER), and she has LISTENED to my ideas and worked them into the design. The team meeting at the office was beautiful in the way they discussed the project and possibilities. I can say that my faith is renewed, and we have honestly worked as a team.
