"The name sounds funny "Waban". Sounds like Elmer Fudd made it up"
"This is a beautiful sculpture located at Woban Common, was co-created by Nancy and Susan Schon. The patina finish adds to the life-like appearance of the caterpillar. It is inviting to sit comfortably on the caterpillar while resting your feet on the caterpillar's feet-like appendages. This is in a great location in the park for all to enjoy."
"Trains are far and few between lately."
"With 70 regular parking spots and three handicap parking spots, Waban is a good place to park your car when going into the city. The only heated shelter is on the inbound side of the tracks, leaving much to be needed on the other side. The platforms to cross the tracks are not regularly maintained so it might be a challenge to cross with a wheelchair. The path leading up to Beacon street is quite steep and not maintained. There is a Starbucks and post office across Wyman st which is convenient if you want to grab a coffee before work."
"Nice, picturesque stop with a nearby coffee shop and a really nice restaurant, Stone L'oven Pizza. Parking is rather limited with 60 spaces. The stop is off of Beacon St with close access to Rt.95/128 (exit 21) and the Mass Pike (exit 15)."
