Reviews
"My dad died last year. It was unexpected as him and his gf were on vacation. Pittsfield cemetery and cremation services handled everything. I was sent the paperwork and it was done within a week. Very smooth process. Caroline was the lady I talked to and she was very nice."
"A large, beautiful, and historic cemetery. You could spend hours honoring and exploring the many generations laid to rest here."
"The woman that works there shouldn't work with the public she's to worried about people helping homeless cats in there. My mother, father, both grandfather's, my grandmother and my brother in laws are burried there and I don't want homeless cats ruining there graves and she threatened or did try to call the cops on me and my 12 year old nephew for trying to take the cats to the shelter to get help. If you have family buried there make sure your loved ones graves don't have spray all over them because that woman could careless she's not the one that paid for the headstone for the people that you love."
"I like to examine grave stones carved before 1800 and the Pitsfield Cemetery has a section of old stones that were removed from the Old Burial Ground in downtown Pittsfield and placed close together in the north west section of the cemetery. There are many interestingly carved stones, but unfortunately many of them are hard to read due to lichen. The cemetery is a beautiful rural cemetery and well worth the time to drive through."
"They were very helpful when I was trying to locate some ancestors here. It was a great visit in the pouring rain β to a beautiful, well maintained cemetery. They provided a map to easily locate sections and plots. I hope the maps I've posted will help others."
