"Sent wrong apnea mask. Been waiting over month for right one. Cust. service is nice. Just can't seem to get the mask out the door. In meantime, getting snail mail and email about not meeting medicare goals. Really frustrating."
"Worst company ever! Does not even deserve one star. Took over two and a half months to get my CPAP and all components to be able to use device, and I picked it all up at the Santa Rosa, CA location. This company is extremely unorganized, forget being able to reach anyone who can help with your equipment over the phone. If you talk to three people you will get three different answers, and it's highly likely that none of those answers are accurate. I am closing my account after finally receiving all items and making my payment in full in person. This company is incompetent. Orders are extremely slow, billing is inaccurate, items are not processed correctly, and for my clients I have observed numerous delivery errors and a total lack of communication between employees. I refuse to deal with this business again under any circumstances. There are other DME companies out there that will process orders accurately and timely with a smile, which Apria is unable to do."
"I received the Res Med Air Sense II cpap to replace my much older DeVilbiss machine. Apria sent the equipment and clear instructions promptly. The whole 'kit' is well designed, and easy to transition to. It has many digital features that would be helpful if one was inclined to want to track their sleep experiences."
"My OB office sent my order for a breast pump to Apria (along with a few other companies). Apria never made contact with me until several weeks later with a shipment notification for their standard breast pump that was billed to my insurance. I was not given the opportunity to discuss options/upgrades and nobody checked to confirm my shipping address or reached out to confirm that I even wanted to order from their company (I didn't). Apparently, it is their policy to bill my insurance and send me their choice of pump without any communication from me. Other companies offer multiple brands that are covered and the opportunity to choose an upgrade if desired. I feel like a breast pump is an item that I should have been able to do my own research on and make an informed decision. Luckily, I caught the shipment in time for it to be canceled and my insurance authorization revoked. I went through another company to place my order and was able to get the device I had researched fully covered. I cannot recommend using a company with such a terrible policy."
"Apria is trying to charge me for an item that they confirmed is converted by insurance when I picked it up. I even told them the item is too small for us but they insisted that is the only model that is covered. 5 months later, they are billing us for the item that we were assured was covered by insurance. If we were provided the correct information, we would have purchased another item that fits better on Amazon for half the price. It’s like they are forcing us to buy it from them as they would not take the item back. On another note, we have left about 5 messages for them to call us to discuss the bill and still no answer. We were texted that the cushion our primary care ordered for us is approved and someone will call once the order is ready…..that was back on 1/18/24 and now its 6/19/24. Again, left several messages and no answer. Now we are trying to schedule a wheelchair return that we no longer need and again, no response after leaving at least 3 messages. We are giving 2 stars because the lady at the front desk is nice and really tried to help us when we had to pick up our items."
