"Andre the owner provided a quote and suggested a brand of paint to be used without primer and said he would only warranty one year, and when I told him I would call the paint store to inquire whether the paint could be used without primer, he got emotionally upset, and stormed off complaining that I don’t trust the painter and stated that he refused to handle the job now. He is very emotional and extremely sensitive. He did me a favor storming off how he did. I called the paint store and they said the paint he wanted to use would not work on the plastic pvc piping and would crack. They also said that a primer must be used. They recommended a different, better paint, that is more flexible. I’d avoid using Gitano painting. The owner is not professional and is too emotional. Guaranteed you can find a better painting company than them."

"Andre of Gitano Painting came very highly recommended by a friend. I also spoke to two other painters recommended by neighbors. Andre's quote wasn't the lowest, but reasonably close. As soon as we finished walking around the house to determine the scope of the project I was pretty sure I was going to hire him. He was very professional and offered a "vision" of the completed work that impressed me. Even when his main helper came down with the flu, he was back with an even bigger crew. They painted my home quickly and with great attention to quality and detail. When they were done, Andre left my wife and I with a very cool "parting gift". We've had house painters before but nothing like Andre. Five Stars are not enough here."
