Reviews
"I haven't yet had their black coffee, so maybe that's their specialty (though my friends have reviewed that as okay, not great). I got a latte that was okay, but seemed to have less espresso (and less espresso flavor) than something comparable at Starbucks/Dunkin. The snacks looked good, and they seem to be friendly to people working there, since I usually see people filling the seats. I'd rather go to Alchemy or Vibrant (in the immediate area)."
"This opened up in my neighborhood within the past year, and recently I decided to step in. I got the Lavender Matcha Oat Milk Latte. It was the priciest drink I’ve gotten in my time living in the city at over $8. Being a matcha fan, I held out hope that it could be redeemable despite the sticker shock. Unfortunately, it was a let down. Overly sweet, with what tasted like 4-5 pumps of syrup in there. I didn’t customize the order at all. Had to end up throwing the drink away trying to stomach it. Being in Rittenhouse, I had higher expectations and wanted to patronize a local business. On the upside, the service was fast and they had an additional basement seating area. Would not recommend for anyone who is looking for a decent third wave coffee shop. You’ll end up paying twice as much and wasting your drink."
"Great atmosphere, solid cup of coffee and the food was flavorful. The Caesar wrap was well seasoned and flavored without being too drippy like most Caesar wraps. Great execution. The French toast muffin was delicious and tasted eerily like eating a French toast stick in a good way. The chips were pretty good and I’m a picky chip eater Service was courteous and relatively quick even though the line was long Will definitely be back"
"I got the lucky charms latte, which is extremely sweet (so not recommended if you don’t have a sweet tooth), and it almost fully masks the coffee taste. I enjoyed it though. The reason for my 3 star rating is mostly due to the atmosphere. I was in their basement seating area which felt kind of off putting…the exposed wall detail was neat, but the ambience and lighting was not it for productivity. The vibes were more suited for a chat and go type of cafe, not really a sit down type cafe."
"Cute little place and comfortable space for working! I sat downstairs where the foot traffic was minimal and people were generally quiet, even when having conversations. Their wifi is also strong, which I really appreciated! That coupled with the friendly staff and pretty good chai latte made my overall experience very pleasant, and I would definitely come back! My only minor complaint would be that the downstairs seating area had a bit of a basement smell to it, but I barely noticed it once I started working."
