"I dropped by on a Sunday evening and their service was already in session. I opened the door outside that led to the hallway, then the first door on the right where the Sunday evening service was being held suddenly opened up and a church member walked out and I briefly looked inside from where I was standing in the hallway, literally only a few seconds went by and my gut dropped! This place made me sick to my stomach and till this day every time I pass Peter's landing where the "GARDEN CHURCH" is located at, I get that feeling in my gut that I know comes from God and he's telling me something is definitely wrong with this church and their congregation!! Very organized, strange, cult like feeling..."

"it seems ok at first but overtime reveals a cultish element. there's a sense of almost a young hipster vibe but I think that's how they draw people in. most of the people one on one are loons, and seem to have mental illness. check it out if you want but don't stay because this element will reveal itself."

"Been trying out this church for a few weeks now after deciding to look at some new churches and leave my home church and I have really loved every minute of it. The worship is wonderful, the congregation is so welcoming, and the pastors give a wonderful word, but most importantly they are so present and accessible. Love the realness and vulnerability this space provides. God is truly moving in this church!"

"Like the minimalism and community service bit...but they went off the deep end some time in 2017/18 and into the whole "apostles and prophets" movement. Became hyper charismatic. They had someone come in and try to discuss modern tongues. Of course no one nowadays speaks and actual language- tongues in the bible is for "unbelievers" and is supposed to have translation per Paul's letters. They also had some guy come in and told everyone to lay hands on one another and pray. That is not scriptural. I think it made some audience members uncomfortable. Lately though the pastor has been into experiential theology and mysticism. Not cool."

"I have been attending the garden since june 2007 and decided to become a born again christian and got baptised march 2013. I absolutely love this church. I definitely recommend you go to this church. Awesome people to meet and hear the word of the lord and how much he loves us all."
