"I would give this three stars as a beach, five stars for a sunset watching point. The beach is relatively small, and there are a ton of rocks here. It can be kind of loud because of the passing traffic on the PCH. That being said, there are beautiful, unobstructed ocean views with the mountains right behind you. There’s plenty of parking right along the road, and it is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset. People have taken to making many little piles of stones, so there are a few good pictures to be had of the many stone piles. A lot of people who stop here climb, the Sandy Doon, on the other side of the PCH, which is a kind of a crazy in fine. Makes for a nice view, though! If you are looking for a beach, destination for sunbathing and swimming, I wouldn’t necessarily come out of my way to come here, but it is not a bad option if you are passing through. Parking is free on the side of the road, there is no fee to come here."
