Our Services:

Since 1972, VRSD has been at the forefront of safe and effective municipal solid waste disposal. We own and operate the renowned Toland Road Landfill, strategically situated off Highway 126 between Santa Paula and Fillmore, ensuring the responsible handling of waste from cities throughout the region.

Our team of experienced, state-certified professionals is committed to delivering a comprehensive range of water supply and wastewater treatment services. From full operation and maintenance of facilities to specialized services like sewer line inspection, cleaning, groundwater monitoring, and water quality assurance, we tailor our offerings to meet the unique needs of each customer. VRSD proudly serves the sanitation needs of over 600,000 residents across Camarillo, Fillmore, Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, and the unincorporated areas of Ventura County. We also support a variety of special districts, educational institutions, and private-sector organizations.

Governance and Community Engagement:

Governed by a nine-member Board of Directors, VRSD is composed of representatives from member agencies. We encourage public involvement and invite you to attend our board meetings, held the first and third Thursday of each month, and the Personnel and Finance Committee meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. All meetings commence at 8:30 a.m. at 4105 W. Gonzales Road, Oxnard, CA.
