"Patients get to beat on staff and the staff can not do anything about it."

"My grandfather was in there for about a month, he had a hip replacement and they got him up once a day to do rehab for his hip. The other 23 hours he was laying in bed. They didn’t get him up to go to the bathroom, they just put a diaper on him. They didn’t get him up to shower him, they just wiped him down with wipes. We live an hour away and had to come take him to apts in the same town he was in because they didn’t have transportation. A nurse stepped on his hearing aid and they said they can drop it off at the veterans clinic to get it fixed, seeing that it was only about 10 minutes away from their facility. They kept saying we will do it tomorrow, finally I had to drive an hour and pick it up and drop it off myself. We finally brought my grandpa home because he was not getting any better, he was the same as he was when he first got the hip surgery and his health was declining. When we brought him home he had bed sores. Wouldn’t recommend."

"My experience with this place is my stepfather has been in since June 28 of last year?! They treat him very well. Of course he would have loved to go home but I guess it was too much to ask of his other half. I understand. Everybody has their own way of dealing. Thank goodness I was finally able to go inside and say goodbye and I loved him. The facility and staff have all cared and care about Curt DeMarzi. He is my 2and Dad. I am sad but he lived a long 90 years. May God keep him close and show him the ropes. I love you Curt my dad. Love me Lisa. Update! Curtis C. DeMarzi passed away this morning on Suday April 11. He was well loved and taken care of. I thank you from my whole heart!"

"My mom broke her hip, then was sent to this place. I’ll so disappointed in this center. The staff are short with the patients. My mom tried all day to get a nurse to change her bandages after her shower the night before. The night before my mom was getting released from this rehab center she experience numbness in her fingertips. I told the nurse that my mom was disoriented and feeling numbness in her fingertips and she just looked at me and continue typing on the computer. I’ve been told the counselor the same thing, she told me if you’re not mom is not well enough she’s not gonna be able to be released tomorrow. The next day I was headed to the hospital to meet my mom to go to her doctors appointment to get her released. Her counselor called me on the way there and told me my mom wasn’t feeling good and she wasn’t going to her appointment. I headed to the rehab center to check on my mom and she looked like she was having a stroke she was complaining about her chest hurting and the nurse was trying to stick a thermometer and telling her that she had to keep it in her mouth. Then he asked if she wanted to go to the hospital, and I said yes call 911. Three hours later she died of a massive heart attack . I blame the center she was showing signs of night before and I told the nurse and they never did anything. All they had to do was check her vitals and see that she was starting to have signs. Keep your loved ones away from the center because I’ll just let them die they are careless! I miss my mom with all my heart protect your love ones from this place."

"From the reception to the therapists, nurses, physicians and administration, this facility is overflowing with compassion and care. Each resident has their dietary and medical needs met , quickly and expeditiously. My grandmother, who had been living on her own for many years, is so happy there. She is busy socializing with the other residents and the staff too! A big thank you to all those who have helped her transition to this part of her life."
