"Dr. Reed went above and beyond to help me when I desperately needed it. He is truly a gem, and really really listened to me and treated me as a whole not just the issue I went in with. I seriously can't convey enough how incredible my experience with him was. He was knowledgeable, extremely caring, compassionate and helpful, direct when I needed it lol, and made me feel comfortable and hopeful which is not typically how I feel in a doctors office. I've had some great care at open door in general, but this Dr. Is truly special and anyone would be so lucky to get to see him!"

"Many of the doctors have not acknowledged their biases toward poor people, women, and people of color. Therefore, they provide poor treatment or no treatment to people in marginalized groups. It saddens me that these doctors behave in ways that abuse their power and authority. They push back on anyone who questions them and their patients suffer because of their lack of self-reflection and personal growth."

"The ray of sunshine who calls you,always calls as she is leaving so you can imagine how much she just wants to hang up. My teen has genetic high cholesterol yet they won't give me a referral for a cardiologist,even though I have private insurance and will pay for it! what do they care, they obviously are not into preventative care. Had the nerve to tell me if 'm not willing to change my kid's diet.this is a kid who has never had a soda or juice.He will only drink water,or a smoothie,,his whole life. eats healthy everyday, maybe has a bowl of sherbert ,once a month exercises everyday. She actually asked me does he eat white rice? change to brown....no duh! we have genetic high cholesterol in our family you think I don't know this. My child is actually underweight for his height yet his cholesterol is still high. Never going back here."

"Avoid Elizabeth Rubin, she is a bully she does not support breastfeeding, she uses threats and pressure to try and force new mothers not to breastfeed.MORE IMPORTANTLY She failed to run tests as urgent like we told her and the hospital that baby was born said to for jaundice which resulted in my baby having to be hospitalized almost twice we had to seek out different doctors to get her helped. We kept calling to get the baby in and Elizabeth felt she was fine no need to worry. She ordered a blood test said it was run stat and not to worry wr would hear back if there was a problem. We didnt hear back then 3 days later we get a call telling us to go straight to the hospital the bloodwork got run but never opened so we never got a call luckily I had been messaging a different pediatrician in the same place that looked and that's who called us NOT Elizabeth. They warned us any longer and she could have had Brian damage or death after this hospitalization Elizabeth's temperament or care for our child did not improve. After we continued taking her in for daily blood tests Elizabeth seemed to get more hostile. She snapped about how I needed to stop breastfeeding and switch to formula even though I was producing ample breastmilk. She called us at around 5pm one night asked what I was doing when I said cleaning she snapped "you need to feed your baby go feed your baby" "do you want your baby to get kinicterous (brain damage) "i had just finished feeding her and needed to do laundry. She treated me as if I didnt care about my child and was most definitely bullying. AT NO POINT WAS MY BABY FAILURE TO THRIVE . She was born with jaundice and san Francisco felt that the doctors here would be able to handle it with monitoring and maybe lights. She at one point claimed that my breastmilk was giving her jaundice. She even said I needed to stop breasfeeding because I would get mastitis which leaves me to beleive she does not have a firm grasp on how breastfeeding works. She said I had to switch baby to formula and instead I switched to pumping and feeding every hour and in two days the jaundice was gone and I never saw Elizabeth again. Elizabeth has no buisness working with mothers in my opinion, she uses outdated methods and just drops the ball at every turn. If we had not done our research and found another doctor, or had we not called the hospitaland clinic daily (some days hourly) I honestly dont think my baby would have survived. Elizabeth Rubin should NOT PRACTICE MEDICINE. I waited to say anything because I debated if I should but I dont want any other new mother to have to deal with the torment she did to us. HOWEVER There are good doctors there that work with kids I just have to go to the pods and NOT the pediatric unit I rated low because Elizabeth Rubin was such a bad experience I almost changed my primary care as well as my daughters so we never had to step foot in that building again but after finding Angelo Alfonso (sorry if I butchered the spelling) we are so happy, with Angelo, he double checks things and is super inventive Angelo is like an angel hes the one who caught the tests and in my mind hes the one that saved her. He was very supportive."

"My wife got very bad reaction for an insulin pen, a reaction that could kill her! She had to reach out open door over the phone to request prescription change. Non of her messages were reached her awesome doctor that she really likes and trust. Non! I had to call myself and scream at them with my male voice i guess and tell them that I am her husband. Only then they listen. Are they not respecting or taking serious a soft gentle woman voice? Just a question."
