"The team here is wonderful! Adrian and Miguel are always welcoming and such a delight. Very upfront about pricing. Remember it is a resell company, so you probably won’t get back the retail price you paid for unless you’re bringing in a highly coveted piece (ie birkin, kelly, etc). If you go in with this mindset, you won’t be disappointed. If you are unhappy with the quoted price, you can always say “no, thank you” and take your items back with no hard feelings. The team does not push you to part with anything you don’t feel comfortable with."
"The prices are very close to retail for used items. Someone wants to go out of business fast! Everything is grossly overpriced. Complete fail! Not worth the energy!"
"Had the most disappointing experience at their Neimann Marcus location today. 4 days (!) ago I bought a brand new Saint Laurent bag in the Saint Laurent store in San Francisco. Even though I liked the bag, I wasn't sure anymore about the color and was hoping to get a reasonable deal with Fashionphile given how new the bag is (used once). Despite having the original receipt etc I was first told the bag would need to undergo further review for counterfeiting. But the real bummer was the offer: they offered to pay 25% of the original purchase price - for a 4 day old bag... - claiming the bag is not in demand. I could not believe it and obviously left immediately. Later I looked at their online store and the same type of bag in different colors and less good condition was sold on average for almost double the price they wanted to pay. A very clear red flag - stay clear from them."
"My experience with Fashionphile is somewhat okay, got good items but they charge you alot of fees if you do not pay attention. For example, the lay away fee. Its inconvenient for me to come down to the store from where I live however, placed layaway on the item and was charged a restocking fee when item didnt fit. Also, if you return more than 70 percent of what you purchase in 6 months they will charge a return restocking fee it is inconvenient for online purchaser like myself who like the online option. I wil be looking for other online options."
"I have called this location multiple times to make an appointment and no one has ever picked up the phone -seriously! Morning, midday, early afternoon, you name it, answering the phone is not their forte. Honestly not surprised considering Union Square as a whole is dead, thus the lack of employees. There are also not enough existing employees that care enough to do their job. I find this absolutely peculiar as I have had a responsive, positive, effortless experience with their Palo Alto location for consignment/buy out purposes. The drive is inconvenient because I live in the city but the customer service is night and day. Call ahead to PA, make the drive, it is worth it."
