"Great views here but I dint think they allow people to enter."
"Great experience coming here. The drive is fun with great viewpoints along the way. And the hike is quite short/easy to get to the lookout from the parking lot. My 2.5 year old daughter hiked the entire way up herself."
"Short little hike-scramble to the top. The building is perpetually shut."
"An awesome fire lookout on the summit of Mt. Tam! Well worth the .3 mile hike from the parking lot. There are 360 degree views from the summit and best to visit on a clear sunny day for the best views. The fire lookout is locked so you are unable to go inside, but you are able to walk around the base."
"Absolutely a hidden gem! This is the spot that tourists seek and locals hide. If you're lucky to climb up to this spot on a clear day, be ready for a spectacular sunset. If you look closely enough, you can even spot the Golden Gate bridge peeking from in between the mountains. But even without a sunset, this is a spectacular vista through and through."
