"hard to get to - by car only, requires a winding drive, then a short walk down quite a ways; not that great of a place for the driving, but it's okay I guess. The stairs are not the core problem, location is."
"Wonderful panoramic view from turrent opening. Unfortunately there is so much graffiti it's hard to truly enjoy the history behind this site."
"Love the Marin headlands and this is a great side excursion when in the area. Every 1st or 2nd Saturday of the month volunteers open the missile silos in the area and provide a detailed history lesson. It's pretty ironic that all cell phones today have more technology than old military structures like this. Great experience, especially for families with kids."
"Great place to each lunch and look at the Golden Gate Bridge!"
"Former coastal artillery battery. Nice quiet place with unusual views."
