Penske Truck Rental

"This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I booked a rental a week in advance and my moving day is tomorrow. I get a call today from Erica the store manager who with an attitude stated they did not have the rental available. She then offers me an upgrade at $30 more. I declined and requested to cancel. I called the corporate number to book another reservation and they tell me this is not how they do business. They are to upgrade at the same rate due to what you requested not being available. I called Erica back where she had the same stank attitude and sounded like she did not care or want to help at all and asked. How would like me to resolve that? Honor the rate and get my booking. Never coming back to this location"

"Quick easy experience in and out and on the road, wish the truck went over 75. Other than that the truck ran well and was pretty comfortable to drive 12+ hours. Drop off at different location was smooth and quick too."

"Pick up service was quick but the next morning we had to return the truck; a large chunk was out of a rear tire and the upper rear door was dented. Those things wouldn't matter so much if we we're doing a local move but bad tires going cross country isn't safe and if it rains, water could come in the dented cargo door. The trucks don't have a great deal of power either. Top speed was 53 and going up a local hill took 3x as long as it should have. UpDate: Had to make a detour during the trip to go to a Penske dealer. They had to change tires on the truck and replace the fan; it wouldn't shut off. Cost me about 9 hours time and ended up sleeping in the truck on a cold night. Got to destination today with no further truck troubles."

"Friendly service. Being in retail for 14 yrs I noticed that all employees put their customers first. They greeted us asked if we needed any assistance just did a fantastic job going the extra mile to make sure our visit was a good experience. Clean environment."
