"Nice place to come and enjoy a little kayaking trip, but not great to stay for long. The restrooms stink, and there’s no wifi reception there. We got stuck here after an accident shut down the road, but we were grateful for the view!"
"It's a drive to where the old drake's Bay oyster farm was. All gone now. The offer bags in box at sure to pick up garbage as you walk. Nice idea. Sad the oyster farm forced to leave not allowed to renew 100 year lease. The oyster cleans the ocean different than other farms."
"Great place to kayak. Pretty sheltered. Fun watching the bat rays flap and hunt for food among the eelgrass."
"I arrived just before sunrise and was rewarded tenfold for the small sleep sacrifice required to see the pre dawn awakening. The area isn't a major tourist thoroughfare as it lacks the amenities of the larger amusment park style crashing waves or the multitude of marine creatures your typical lookyloo Sunday travelers might desire but for me it held a stark barren beauty that edged towards a darker more Nilistic landscape that satisfied some tragic part of my brain. It should definitely be a point of interest on your next trip to Point Reyes."
"A fun dirt road leads to this view but it’s not really worth the stop. You’ll see it as you drive and it’s wore out of the way. If you are in the are for multiple days it’s probably worth your time. But for us on a one day visit it wasn’t."
