"ZipCar needs 1 page for ALL reviews and the company itself. #1) Too expensive. Renting a car right now would cost around $100 per 8-12 hours. If you return the car early, you get no money back. If you go just a few minutes over (as in late) they will charge you around $60 out the gate...so don't be late. Gas is free, which is nice. 180 miles per day or pay extra per mile. #2). It's sometimes annoying that most the cars have start-button cars, and you never get a normal key when you rent the car. This means no valet parking. #3). Needs more locations in metropolitan cities. Otherwise it's a cool service and an alternative to the typical car rental places that charges a TON of huge deposits, checks your credit and is annoying to deal with. The cars are almost always brand new or newer. Great for locals and getting a few errands done."
