Reviews
"We tried to renew the registration for our car at the kiosk at the Publics, 20311 Grande Oak Shopped, Estero on Sunday May 5, 2024. We called the number to be told that the network in Florida was down and it would be working Monday. We tried on Monday and the kiosk would not take our credit card. . Again, we called the number on the kiosk. After 10 minutes with no one answering, we left the store. I called again and left a message for a return call and drove home. 45 minutes later I get the return call. When I told them that I was not at the store, the call was immediately disconnected by them, but they did call back. They didn’t know the kiosk was not working. They told me to go to Public’s on Radio Road in Naples. I went Tuesday morning. The front of the store faces Santa Barbara Blvd, not Radio Road. After another call about the location, I was successful in renewing the registration. The kiosks are a great idea, but needs some fine tuning by the state and the vendor. Why doesn't the kiosk tell the vendor that it has many terminated transactions? Fort Myers/Cape Coral have 3 kiosks, Naples has one. Total driving miles for the three trips is well over 75 miles."
