"They sent us out with Lizzy Caleri, who was our realtor for purchasing a new home, while we were selling our other home in Spring Hill. Lizzy referred us to Alternative Home Inspection [turned out this was her father] long story short, the home inspection left a bunch of thing off the report, faulty electrical, outlets not working and others not up to code, completely clogged dryer vent, ANOTHER FIRE HAZARD!! We had electricians come out and were told by both companies, the panel was wired wrong [double tapped ] and was a risk for a house fire. We tried to contact Mr. and Mrs. Mamo several times and they were always out of town. Bottom line, Lizzy referred her father, he gave a squeaky clean inspection so Lizzy walks away with her commission. Meanwhile we are struggling to come up with several thousand dollars to fix all the issues in our new home. All we were asking for was some help Affirmative Home Inspection Services Incorporated from the realtors who made a ton on the home we sold and from the home inspector, who told us too bad, he's not "legally responsible" WE had to spend over $4k to get the electrical panel replaced so that we didn't end up in a house fire some day :( I would never recommend the Mamo team, they could have offered to throw us a few thousand from the $12k commission they made from our home sale since thei realtor is the one to send us to her father, who clearly was looking out for his daughter so she could make a fat commission. I was waiting for Mrs. Mamo to call us back and she never did. I would've pursued it but ended up in Septic Shock and on a ventilator fighting for my life and have been in rehabilitation ever since. I wanted to give them the chance to do the right thing before leaving a negative review, but unanswered calls and never getting the calls back from them was a clear message, they got their $$ so we're done here. Thanks for nothing!!"
