"They won't answer calls from their sign that you find they have listed very unprofessional. I found a house I was interested in made several calls and left messages 0ver a 3 week time frame Never got a call back the message said they were outta town. I went back to property to see If I had wrong address to find it was sold ,that someone was demo it. They are the worst reality ive ever seen. No return calls nothing . If you see their sign go through another reality company to get the information."

"Even though our two Hofacker agents spent 2-3 weeks showing us homes (which admittedly was around 30 homes), I feel they did not make my experience of buying a home in Florida a pleasant one. We initially had an agent with more experience working with us, but we were shifted to someone who had less experience and was less competent. I even contacted the first agent asking her to stay with us, and she told me they were a “team,” but when it came to the last week before closing, there was no teamwork involved. The agent we ended up with made a number of mistakes and she did not like it when we pointed them out, and we really just wanted clear and accurate answers. For example, she told me that we could sign all our closing documents online which is not true. Also, after the inspection, she called and told us that the sellers would not have to fix anything the inspectors found (and they found a nonfunctional fireplace, broken windows, non-locking doors, a leaky roof—just to name a few problems). Her communication skills were poor. I asked a number of questions she never even answered. I definitely felt like she worked to “make the sale,” rather than working to meet our needs. And when I expressed that to her, she told me I “was the most difficult customer she had ever had.” During the negotiating process, she told us that the price the seller was demanding was a “great” price and we should take it, even though comparable homes in the area were selling for less per square foot (and I had researched that information). We also wanted a final walk through close to the closing date and she told us that the “final walk through is not mandated by law.” After she called me “the most difficult customer,” she never spoke to me again and that included the entire closing process. Our loan manager stepped in to help us tie up all the loose ends. I would never recommend Hofacker to anyone because the agents I worked with made my home-buying experience a nightmare."
