"Good location. Relatively new hotel. Rooms are slightly better than average. Valet parking. There is some street parking, but check the hours. Lobby is nice with some games. Breakfast bar was pretty standard. Shower was nice."

"We loved our stay at the Tru by Hilton. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Loved the sun deck; our kids loved splashing around in the mini pool. Breakfast was fantastic and it was a short walk for our family to visit Enchant at Tropicana Field. We'll definitely be back!!"

"We reserved a hotel block here for our wedding at Sunken Gardens. Jimmy was a joy to work with and was extremely accommodating to our requests. The little touches that the staff included for the room made our day. The lobby area also provided a great location for us to spend time with our guests after the wedding. Guests found the hotel shuttle to be very helpful to getting to the venue. It was also helpful that disabled parking was provided at no charge for valet for guests with disabled parking. Highly highly recommend!"

"What a wonderful experience the Hilton is my favorite ❤️ place to stay and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The room are so comfortable and clean. In their lobby they have a pool, pool table A huge connect for and jingle board for the kids and adults to play. And a perfect location to their downtown with lots of fine restaurants, shops, and things to see. Love ❤️ my stay"

"My mom and I stayed for 3 nights a couple weeks ago - the staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean, we enjoyed the breakfast offerings. The reasons that we didn't give it 5 stars are and almost went down 3 stars: 1. There is no on-site parking. You pay $18 a day for valet parking AND the valet kiosk asks you to tip. It adds up! The valets were nice enough, but it's not like they were opening doors for us on arrival or helping with bags. Valet parking should be included in the room price since there's no option to self-park. This really irritated us and we would not stay here again because of the added cost. 2. The "duvets" on the beds are a joke. The cover is only on one side and the two have no way to stay together other than a shallow pocket on the top of the cover. I doubt they're washing the duvet insert, which constantly separated from the cover. Just didn't make sense. 3. As other reviews mention, the bed frames have sharp corners and my mom and I bumped our shins at least once a day. Overall the staff was lovely, but the valet issue is enough for us to stay away in the future."
