"the most expensive house in Sarasota is very close 4423 Bayshore drive"
"Short nature trail to the bay. The path and vegetation has been spruced up recently. Worth a short stroll only if your passing by on Bay Shore. Only one parking space."
"The term hidden gem really applies here. Strip back the lush vegetation and this park is nothing more than a long thin vacant plot of land between to mega mansions on Bay Shore Road. However it oozes character & sense of adventure due to the lush vegatation and canopy of trees. Its like being in Hawaii! The park is very easy to miss when driving by, as it has a modest entrance sign that leads to a meandering path down to the waters edge of Sarasota Bay. I think it follows the path of a large concrete storm drain outlet that emerges from the ground and empties into the bay. This has been painted with bright colors. There are no benches, but you can site on the outlet pipe or on a few rocks at the shore. The park is perhaps 25 feet wide? You'll often have the place to yourself, sometimes locals walk their dogs there. Apparently Charles Hegner was a native of the area (lived on 40th Street I think?) and an enviromentalist & historic preservationsist. I'd like to think that he would very much approve of this park."
"One of the few places to access the water within the residential neighborhoods of Indian Beach Sapphire Shores. If you put the address into your GPS it is a little ways past that probably 50 steps. Very easily missed. I had a semi difficult time finding it. The walkway to the water feels like a quick walk through the jungle! Once you get to the water access it is breath taking! Amazing view of the bridge leading into Lido Key. Be mindful of homeless people sleeping in the jungle walkway prior to the beach access. I saw a man sleeping there when I was heading back that I didn’t notice on my way in."
"This is my secret spot not many people know about!!!! Don't over run it please. And there is a trash can do please stop leaving your trash around. No one should have to go down there to relax and have to pick up beer bottles and ciggarette butts!!!!"
