"My mom has been eating here since they opened! She has since moved away but when she comes into town she needs this pizza! We called in a little early knowing they would have plenty of time to make our order. Alyssa on the phone was so nice and accommodating to everything. When I went to pick the order up her personality was shining! She knew people by name and was super attentive and appreciative of everyone. The pizza was delicious and we were so thankful that after my mom's long drive from West Virginia she was able to enjoy her FAVORITE hometown pizza!"

"It's a Sunday, and those that read my reviews know what the means. ITALIAN FOOD. When I read "owned by an Italian family" since 1975." Yeah baby. I had lasagna. It's simple, but it's easy to screw up. It was fantastic. Now I understand the reviews, and Julie, the most awesome server in the world, killed it. Bravo"

"The food was good. And for a Friday night, the service was okay as well. Parking was tight. I had to park in front of the gun store. I'd suggest checking for refills and paying at the table instead of standing in line at the front register. Just our luck, a large table got in line just before us! And they each had their own tab! But the orders were correct and came out in a timely manner. In my opinion, with other similar restaurants, I can get a little bit better quality dishes with more pampering during the dinner service."

"**Welcome to this review** This restaurant has been a staple in Sarasota for at least 40 years. The atmosphere is very casual and clean. The owners / hosts are super friendly and very cordial. The staff is very fast and knows the menu cold. I especially like the lunch specials where you can get a salad, pizza and a drink for a reasonable price. The one main thing is if you don't eat lunch or dinner there, you have to try the desserts. The amaretto ice cream truffle ball is ridiculous. One of the best desserts in town for a family friendly restaurant. Thanks for reading this."
