"I was so hopeful after my first visit with costal neurology. Despite waiting for over 6 months for my initial evaluation, I left feeling good about the plan put in place by Dr. Phillipakis and myself for my migraines. The doctor assured me if there was any issues with my medications to use the portal, that she checks it every evening and it is the best way to talk directly with her as they could not fit me in for a follow up until 2025. After about a month I started reaching out as i’ve run out of my medication due to an increase in my migraines. Over the following 2 weeks I had to call several times just to get a nurse on the phone and when I finally did they told me they could not refill my medication and advised I take over the counter vitamins and make no other changes until my follow up… which is in 2025… I am incredibly disappointed as I suffer from terrible migraines and was told that they would work with me… I am still waiting for a call that they promised I would receive several days ago.. I’m sure you get the point."

"So far, they have no explanation for my seizures. I was told that I would get a phone call from my doctor or at least another doctor. I did not receive a call all day, and when I called to ask when I'd hear, they had no idea what I meant. I told them, "sara jean told me my doctor would call me today, but I wasn't given a specific time." They asked me 3 times if I had an appointment or what time I was expecting my call or what I meant by phone call. What do you think I meant by phone call? Anyway, I'm frustrated, and a doctor should really make their calls DURING operating hours and not blow off patients."
