CBS Labs Of Tampa

"I went to get labs and ended up really disappointed with how this place works. First, when I arrived there was no one to greet or check-in and the phone was ringing for at least 5 minutes… A guy from a delivery company was delivering a package and he told the people on the back that they have a person waiting for them and that’s when they came to check me in. Second, the person that came was a man and he asked a lady that was supposed to be the checking in lady which labs he had to do which I assumed he did not know what he was reading or doing, for my luck that was the guy to do my bloodwork. I proceeded to the room and sat on the chair that he indicated. The cdc guidelines here are a joke. The guy never dressed as he supposed and he was not in good hygiene. Getting into details, he was wearing construction boots and obviously normal clothes. It was weird to me that he was not wearing a phlebotomist or medical uniform, but I proceeded to be seated and wait. One of my things is that I am really afraid of needles and blood which makes me dizzy and I was not even looking at what he was doing for preparation, for my surprise when I looked at the end of the bloodwork, when he was putting the gaze on my hand, HE WAS NOT WEARING GLOVES AND I look at the hands and it was like he was in a construction site ( dirty hands and nails) Omg, I wanted to cry! I have never reviewed places if they're bad but this was really unprofessional and out the limits! THE WORST PLACE to do bloodwork. I wish I had left the moment I saw the first red flag!!!!"

"I called to see if this lab took my insurance. They didn't ask to the specific information like group number or member ID, they just said yes come on in. So I get there the following morning after FASTING for 12 hours as required by my doctor's order and turns out they don't take my insurance. The receptionist wasn't even apologetic. Egregious lack of organization and consideration for patients. Do NOT recommend."

"Driver in car 104 ran a solid red light and almost caused huge accident at a major intersection. After that he continued to drive erratic and fast. Trying to call company to let them know and they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about acted like they didn’t care even hung up on me once. They kept saying no they didn’t understand finally a guy got on the phone said he was the owner and her would address it but I seriously doubt they will.. watch out when u see there blue Honda #104.. car already has dents go figure"
