"Dr.Glaum is excellent and his staff are incredibly kind and helpful. After being diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos (EDs) by my geneticist, I came to Dr Glaum via my sibling’s recommendation. As it turns out, he studies mast cells which my geneticist and I had talked about. MCAS is prevalent in EDs so I was so relieved to have found a Dr who understood my symptoms and was able to properly diagnose me. He and his team have helped me so much and I’m extremely grateful! If you have EDs, go here!"
"I have been a patient of Dr. Glaum for more than 15 years. I have asthma and his care has been life changing for me. He is very knowledgeable, patient and has great bedside manner. He always takes time to answer all my questions thoroughly. I started getting allergy shots several years ago and this has made such a positive difference in my quality of life. When I first started seeing him, my asthma was not well controlled and I would get bronchitis at least 4 times a year. Now, I rarely ever get sick anymore. It's truly been a game changer for me. And I can even play with cats! I used to be severely allergic to cats. Finally, I want to give a great recommendation for Jose, the nurse in the injection lab. He is the best! Very knowledgeable and always answers all my questions. He is kind, patient, and puts you at ease. He does a great job educating patients on the allergy shots. When he gives me my allergy shots, they don't even hurt! He is also fluent in Spanish which is a great skillset to have for patients who speak Spanish, including myself. I hope he stays with Dr. Glaum for a long time, and hope he gets a raise! Jose is definitely an asset to Dr. Glaum's team. The quality of staff at a doctor's office, and how they treat patients, makes a huge difference."
"Dr. Glaum has been seeing our children for 2 years and we are very happy with our experience. He allergy tested them and they’ve been receiving shots for 18 months. We’ve seen a significant decrease in their asthma since starting the shots and we are now able to have dogs due to the success of the dog allergy shots. Dr. Glaum and the nurses who administer the shots are very knowledgeable and they always answer our questions thoroughly. I highly recommend this practice."
"If a negative star was available that would be too much. Worst office staff ever. Dr. Mistreated allergy for 6 months that another diagnosed in first trip. Office had 3rd party help with xolair shot Co pay. They dropped them and didn't tell patients their Co pay would go from 10.00 to 400.00 or more. I left saying I wouldn't pay that much. On drive home they said come back and we will honor the 10.00 one last time. I did and now 5 months later they said they never did that and have billed me. Go somewhere else. Even their bill says call but wait 4-5 days for a return call. Awful."
"I can't even give this practice a star rating. I have made multiple calls since beginning treatment with side effects I have been experiencing due to the allergy shots. The nurse that calls back, sometimes after I have left multiple messages, is very rude and made me to believe it was in my head. I requested an appointment with the doctor and she told me it was scheduled. I went to the appointment after many bad experiences and the door to the office was locked. I called the main office and was told I did not have an appointment. I cancelled all my upcoming appointments and will not return, not even if it was life or death. IF you need an allergist, go somewhere else."
