"Daniel was excellent today. The people here are always helpful and pleasant towards me."
"I am regular one blood donor had a major concern with the way employees treated me on January 8, 2024 at Walmart Durbin Park location. The issue is I walked in at 4:25 PM and one employee said go ahead and sign in, another employees give a different type of expression. Why are you letting him sign in at this time? I wanted to raise this and then really treated me bad with the different type of expressions That are insulting for a donor. That’s been with One Blood for many years. I understand I did walk in, however, this is not the behavior I expect from my employee that is supposed to take the blood. If I am the boss, I would fire both of them because they are busy on phones browsing than intrested in doing work. They are supposed to be working until 5 pm"
"I’ve been giving blood for several years bec I think I’m helping in some small way, usually at one donation center near my house. I went in last night and the phlebotomist said “you’re at 4 gallons…that’s great! Let me give you a sticker” . She went to look but they only had 1gallon but she went on and on how great it was I had donated 4 gallon, I felt good. (She was there as a substitute not a regular.) I asked why nothing was said to me about my 1, 2 or 3 gallon marks…she had no answer. It does make a difference to feel appreciated.."
"My wife went in to give blood, but instead of telling her to wait 15 minutes like their brochure suggests they told her she could leave if she felt like it. Just a few minutes later she almost fainted while driving her car. She made it back to the facility and honked her horn 4 times to see if someone could come out to her help her. However no one responded. I don't think this facility is safe for donating."
"The rudest desk lady at any oneblood I've been in. I came in on a non busy day and non busy time and asked the lady at the desk (very rude nurse) if I could donate and she was like no there's other people coming in but they haven't come in yet (late by 20 minutes) and she couldnt take me. I left like this makes no sense. I've been to Orange park location (super nice and let walk ins) and 103rd location (nice people also let's walk ins)"
