"Nobody is ever in the office. No one ever answers the phone. There was a hole in our units ceiling that would leak and caused our furniture go grow mold (it was a layer so no light shone through and it went unnoticed for months for us) plus Monica told me I could just send her a picture of the empty unit once we moved out and she would close my account... I did that in October 2021 and I am still reciecing invoiced to this day June 2022. No answer or calls back to this day."
"I could not get ahold of anyone on the telephone and no one is available in office. I did not receive clear instruction for the date of reservation so I was not even aware how to get into the unit or which unit was reserved. Telephone numbers provided just went to voicemail. Place looks sketchy and abandoned. I canceled my reservation and booked somewhere with a human who answered the phone. Do not recommend."
"Absolutely will not take service from this storage again... I had made a reservation 1-week prior to arriving there (the earliest I could set the reservation to), and when I did arrive there with my stuff to drop off, NO ONE was at the site. It looked like a ghost-town. I was even 10 minutes early so I could get everything signed and settled with someone. My dad and I spent those early 10 minutes trying to call and get in touch with someone. We called the number given to us through email, AND called the number on the sign right outside of the location, and no one picked up. To top it off, the voicebox was full. I was about the call it quits after 10 calls when I suddenly received a text message from a personal phone number just asking me "Are you calling about your reservation?" This person didn't even introduce themself, but considering the timing it had to be someone working for Newberry Mini. I respond with "Yes! Is there someone here to help out?" No answer for 10 minutes. When they do respond, they just say "Your name?" I am immediately not comfortable with this. The most I give is my name and phone number (which they should've already had, considering they reached my phone number through text and I had given that information through the reservation). I end up waiting between 10-12 minutes between each text... I have to drop off my truck at a certain time at another company, and I still have my stuff in the truck. I get fed up and text the person to cancel my reservation and service. NOW the responses start coming faster. This person turned out to be Monika, and I only found that out after she sent a copy-and-paste list of the info she still needed from me, which was something we could've easily done in person in LESS than 10 minutes. Luckily, she acknowledges my wish to cancel my service. But get this, I'm receiving bills for renting a room with Newberry Mini that I NEVER finished the contract for, so I shouldn't even be charged for it... I received the initial bill for what I signed for (A little over $60), but there was no due date for the payment. It's been five days since the first bill, and the bill has suddenly jumped to over $300. I have called the company and asked to remove me from their service, but the best I could do was leave a voicemail because, again, no one answered. I understand that COVID has made servicing things difficult, and I also understand that customers don't come in everyday for storage. But I had made a reservation 1 WEEK before I arrived. Monika's servicing was extremely unprofessional, and I am frustrated and disappointed that no one was there at the location, and that no one is answering my calls. I will NOT be paying those bills. I never finished the contract, and I asked Monika to cancel my reservation and service, which she acknowledged. I have posted screenshots of the first email-bill I've received and the latest one I've received. Note that the first bill has the due date on July 28th, BUT the invoice was sent on August 16th. If any employee is reading this, PLEASE do better, and remove me from your service."
"The staff member I talked to was nice friendly and helpful. She even let me use some locks so I didn't have to buy any. I seen some comments and all I can do is share my experience. I had there personal number in case of any problems. I could text them night or day. They don't always have someone on sight and when I went to rent I had to call the number on the sign and they came out shortly to take care of me. Then there is the unit itself. The unit I used had plenty of space. I used a non climate control unit. I did have to sweep it out before use but I didn't personally mind that and I put plastic down on the cement floor before putting my stuff on top. My stuff sat in storage from February to April. I had no issues with smells or mold. I was wondering if I would have mold issues because my washer was in there with water still in it and with Florida heat and humid air.... Everything was great and there was some bugs but I expected that but it wasnt anything major. You can say oh no bugs but its Florida people and even in a clean house that has pest control you will get bugs at times so for a unit that was non climate control pest control or not it wasnt bad at all. I seen a review where they had rat feces but I didnt have any of that and I had plenty in there where they could have made there home. Anyhow I gave it 4 star and I had great customer service. The reason 4 is just because I wish they kept up with the place a bit more cause the garage type door on the unit was a bit worn but still it didn't effect much and I was still a happy customer and would use them agian."
"I accidentally wrote a check to them for a storage unit I do not have with them and they proceeded to cash the check. I have tried unsuccessfully for days to reach someone to advise of them of my error and request a refund but no one answers the phone (mailbox is full) and they have not responded to my e-mail inquiries. Customer service is atrocious!"
