"National Cremation Society I would highly recommended. Indira and the team made a difficult situation seamless. You cannot ask for a more kind and caring place to help in a time of need. Indira made multiple follow up calls and assured me the time lines would be met. Very appreciative of everyone’s help!!"
"Tonight my husbands mother passed way. We received the call and arrived here at the memory care facility at 9pm. The memory care told us they called National Cremation and Hospice. Hospice arrived did his paperwork and called them at 10:15pm while we were in the room. It is now 2:09am as I type this and no one is here yet. We have been told 1.5 hours, 40 mins, etc. Still waiting."
"When my husband and I first moved here 9 yrs ago, we went to an invite and dinner. We decided to sign up with them. At the signing with Debbie, we asked if our rings and all our previous pet tags could be included with the ashes. We were asked to write and sign our requests, which we did. My husband passed away very unexpectedly recently, and I was very disappointed with them. First, it took many hours before they were able to pick up the body. My husband passed away right across from our lanai while walking the dog. Every time I went to smoke a cigarette, that was all I could see. The body was covered with a sheet, but it was there for at least 3 hours or more. Secondly, when I made the initial phone appointment with Brittney, I had written down 11am for that Friday. My husband passed on Wednesday. The phone rang at 10am and I was having a cigarette on the lanai. I got up and came inside to answer it, but it was a hang up. No message was left. This happened two more times. 11 o'clock came, and there was no phone call. After a while, I called them. Well, because I missed the original call, which was because no name or business name was left as a message,or that I could hear and pick up the call, I missed my turn and had to wait till the following Monday. What kind of business or professional calls with something that important and not leave a message? I was very upset! Then came emails that I had to sign. First email needed corrections, 2nd email got mixed up with the first and the message said I had 15 minutes to sign these electronically. Talk about stress! My husband just passed away, I'm 69 and not good at technology. Finally, I told her I was going to come down and she could print out what I needed to sign. Phone screens are small, and from all the crying, I couldn't even read the texts of what needed to be signed. After signing all the paperwork, I brought up the rings and dog tags and was told they couldn't do that because it would be considered pollution. I was not at all happy with my experience."
"Sadly my father passed away on April 7, 2024. I found National Cremation & Burial Society online and completed the information online and was sent an email stating that we would be contacted shortly. We never heard back from them even after paying for the services. I had to call them and schedule the appointment. The next day, my mother and I went to the establishment for our appointment. We were explained the process which could take as long as 10 - 15 business days. We received documents to sign that has the wrong date of birth which delayed the process another day. Every few days I made the call to speak to our funeral director Tori but was stopped by Brenda. Brenda who lacked any sympathy or empathy as I called continually refused to speak with me (the son) and would only speak with my mother (the spouse). My mother who has been beside herself since his passing and not dealing with all the paperwork and legalities was even more upset that wouldn't work with me. I made approximately 4 calls just to see if there was any progress, was told as soon as they know something the "next of kin", my mother would be contacted. Today, with no updates and roughly 3 weeks later, we had a call on the answering machine to call National Cremation. Again, I call on speakerphone with my mother and was told again by Brenda that she needed my mother's permission to speak with me. After my mother frustratingly gave permission, we were told the cremation was completed. We NEVER got any updates during this difficult process. We NEVER got a call for anything, even a check-in to see how my mother was doing. The lack of customer service was appalling and disappointing. Never had dealt with the death of an immediate family member this was not the experience I expected. To know that the son of his deceased father could get no acknowledgement or help is ridiculous. I would NEVER recommend National Cremation after this experience. I wish I had chosen another vendor that maybe was more empathetic during this difficult time and didn't just want our money. Thankfully, my father is now back home with us and we don't have to continue to worry or think about where in the process we are to get the remains."
"Debra Cannell was such a joy to work with!!! Very knowledgeable on every question we had and has a great personality!!! Debra was very sweet, very professional, and provided a great lunch for our group. So glad we went with National Cremation & Burial Society which will make thing so much easier for our family members when God calls us home."
