Publix Super Market at Hays Road Town Center

"All Publix stores are "plug & play", meaning, they are all the same. That is, clean, well staffed, and priced higher than other supermarkets. However, they always have a lot of BOGO deals every week, and this is where you can make up for the higher prices. Regardless, if you are from Florida, then you know exactly what Publix is all about. And there's a damn good reason they are so successful. I love them."

"I was the only one in self check out. I used Apple Pay for the one item I purchased. I didn’t want to waste a bag and I never need receipts when I use Apple Pay. The employee there was a larger Hispanic woman who clearly saw I was using the check out. She combatively approached me asking if I had a receipt. I explained to her that I can show her the receipt on my phone. It was probably still hanging out of the checkout lane. She suddenly walked away. If you’re going to accuse me of something or suggest I didn’t pay, then follow thru with your accusation to resolve the situation. I felt embarrassed and confused. This is totally unlike Publix. I would’ve asked to see a manager if I didn’t have to be somewhere."

"Not only is it a well stocked, clean store with friendly staff, they give you a Birthday treat if you enroll in that reward. See info in their bakery. We enjoyed a delicious bar cake tonight for my Birthday in January. Thank you, a nice touch."

"Coming from Michigan I'm not used to this grocery store but I was very pleased upon my shopping experience. I was most impressed with the deli selection and hot food variety. The workers were very attentive. The store was clean. The pricing was not too high. There was plenty of parking. I think coming to Publix Florida will be my new regular grocery store."
