"called at 2:45pm on a Monday repeatedly-- only response was a voicemail saying the office is closed and to call during regular business hours--then proceeds to say they are open until 4 pm. no option to leave a voicemail .please advise/correct your hours"
"When you drive to this location, you will be confused if you're in the correct place. All the buildings, A-D, look very decrepit, and it's tucked away with no signage to verify you're in the right spot. Once found, I walked up the stairs and stood on the landing way, confused, as there were only two doors. One said "Private entrance" and the other having only a small printed sign on the wall. Once entering, for my 9:20am. appointment, I was rudly greeted by the woman at the front desk. I arrived early, 9:00 am, to fill out all the new patient appointment forms. She asked, "Do you have an appointment?" and I responded with, "Yes, at 9:20, I'm here early to fill out new patient forms." She proceeded to ask me, "Why is she here, we don't take kids." I responded back as this was my daughter, and she's sitting in the waiting room. She goes to many appointments with me and it's never been a problem with any office within Virtua or elsewhere. No email, text message, or scheduler mentioned you must come alone to this appointment. She abruptly got up and walked away. I stood there confused and waited for her return. When she did, she said she's going to have to cancel my appointment as the office doesn't accept children. I then asked her why not, and she said that's just the rules. If the rule is you must come solo, that should have been mentioned to me when I made the appointment two months ago. My daughter is very well-behaved and sits in the waiting room at numerous appointments with me. The allergist, obgyn, primary, etc. I've never been met with such a rude response to bringing my daughter with me. I've now waited two months for this appointment for it to be canceled for truly no reason. I will not reschedule with this affiliate in the future. Their reasoning and rules aren't clearly mentioned and the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with were rude and inconsiderate. Please don't waste your time like I unfortunately have."
"In regard to Jamie Strauss: The worst attitude and treatment by a medical professional I’ve ever experienced. Rude, condescending, and ignorant. Beware! She is not a neurologist either. She’s a nurse practitioner who worries more about showing off her designer purse than providing proper care and empathy. Told me to be quiet. Told me I lied about having an 2nd MRI needed for a relative who may or may not have had a stroke because he was being treated for a stroke anyway. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want to know that information for medical records going forward! When asked about it at the nurse’s station, she proceeded to announce his other diagnoses in front of patients and their visitors which violated his HIPAA rights."
"Dr Kachroo is the best Doctor ! I have been his patient for 20 years now and have always had the best care and advice from him. and he is funny too!"
"I have nothing but great things to say about this practice. The office staff members are very friendly and welcoming and make accommodations, if needed. It’s refreshing to actually speak to a person when you call the office once you listen to their very brief opening tape menu. I have been a patient of Dr. Arun Kachroo for over 20 years now and have the utmost of respect for him both as a physician and a person. He explains things in easily understood terms and answers any questions I may have. He listens and responds to any concern I may have regardless of whether it is a major or a minor concern. When he enters the examining room, it’s quite obvious that Dr. Kachroo has reviewed his notes from the last visit as our appointment starts off with questions that reflect that, and we proceed from there. I don’t think that I would be doing as well as I have done over the years had it not been for his caring and carefully thought out treatment. I find that he really listens to and cares about his patients as people. You are not just another number or a medical condition."
