"Loved getting drinks and bites here on a weekday night! The martini hour is a grand slam deal. $7 martinis and they’re made by hand to order. The bites were really good — my friend and I had the peppers and the olives. The peppers were so juicy and flavourful. Service was brilliant and we never felt rushed which is often a thing in this city. 10/10!"
"Reservation at 8pm so we stopped in 30 mins early to check out the lounge area where martinis are $7 all day. Earlier that day I was watching YouTube, and NBC had a special on CucinaMorini where the beverage director, Ryan Cooper was featured. I noticed him making his rounds and he was kind enough to come over and make some recommendations for our dinner. We got the two specials of the day that Ryan Recommended - the seafood pasta and the swordfish. Wonderful southern Italian restaurant with Chef Adler once again making a fantastic and cohesive menu with dishes that are unique and not easily found at many other restaurants. All of the pastas were total hits with the squid ink pasta (taglinoi neri) being my personal favorite. The gramigna was fantastic and something I haven't ever had in an Italian place. The chicory salad was delicious but I would def tell the back of the house to dress it a lil less, as it was too wet. Ricardo our server was amazing, even chased after us when my partner left her sunglasses on the table. Very thankful for his alertness!"
"Wonderful southern Italian restaurant. All the workers are kind and extremely attentive to your needs. Chef Adler once again making a fantastic and cohesive menu with dishes that are unique and not easily found at many other restaurants. All of the pastas were total hits with the squid ink pasta being my personal favorite. The seafood soup was fantastic and something I haven't ever had in an Italian place. While it was quite expensive you got a ton of seafood for the price. The only thing that was a little underwhelming was the calamari which was overcooked which led to it being dry and rubbery. Other than that I will see myself coming back to this fantastic restaurant"
"Chef Adler and team absolutely knocked it out of the park. The food was outstanding, ambiance is beautiful and fun (great playlist!) and Dominique was a great server. We managed to make it to dessert and highly recommend saving room for that as well! Absolutely elated another amazing Italian spot has come to DC. Great work!"
"went on opening night and had a great time! the service was lovely and the food was really great. cool vibes downtown and i love that you can do half portions of the pasta!! they do reserve some tables for walk ins and we snagged one of those. we LOVED the squid ink pasta especially and the vanilla cheesecake dessert. besides the eggplant pasta that could have used a little more eggplant, i really have no complaints."
